Sea Island Yellow Flint Grits - 12 oz

SEA ISLAND YELLOW FLINT GRITS

Our Sea Island Yellow Guinea Flint Grits is a southern tradition produced from yellow dent corn. It is unique and full of flavor due to the way in which it is harvested and processed. This corn is left in the fields until dried. Once harvested, it is then cold stored and cold milled for optimum flavor.

Basic recipe for cooking grits

1 cup grits
4 cups water
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
Add all ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil for 15 minutes, reduce heat
to low, cover, stir and let steam for 15 minutes.
